Noemi – Falling in Love with Light and Presence
Working with Noemi is always a reminder of what portraiture truly is: not just capturing a face, but capturing a feeling. In this session, we embraced the simplicity of natural light. No tricks, no excess — only Noemi, the soft play of light and shadow, and the Leica in my hands.
Her natural beauty doesn’t demand attention; it invites you in. The more I photographed her, the more I realized that to create truly unique and beautiful pictures, you must first fall in love with your model. Not in a literal sense, but in a way that allows you to see her essence fully — to appreciate her energy, her presence, her humanity. Only then does the camera translate what the eyes and heart perceive.
The result was a series of portraits where honesty and elegance intertwine. Each frame carries a piece of intimacy, a quiet strength that only emerges when trust is mutual and when the photographer allows himself to be vulnerable, too.
Shot on the Leica M11, the images hold both precision and emotion — proof that photography is not about perfection, but about connection.
To photograph Noemi is to fall in love with the moment itself. And in that love, beauty becomes timeless.
