A dream came true. After being selected by Leica Camera for the Leica 100 Photographers project, I was invited to test the new Leica Q3 Monochrom before its official release. An honour of the highest kind.
Testing the Leica Q3 Monochrom felt less like trying a new camera
and more like stepping back into a familiar room inside myself.
A place where light has weight, shadows breathe,
and every tone carries intention.
Shooting a full hockey match on the Leica Q3 Monochrom sounds unusual.
No zoom, no color, no “sports body.” But the results prove otherwise.
A small spontaneous Halloween experiment to see how the Leica Q3 performs in low light, fast motion, and a dramatic atmosphere. Costumes, shadows, and slightly longer shutter speeds created a surreal, almost horror-film look.
